Henry, Ruth and George, Lake 2017

Since George’s 5th birthday is just around the corner, I thought, Hey- I should edit the pics from his 3rd year birthday! So here is our little lake vacation we took on George’s birthday. Part 1 anyway, I think there is another unedited folder somewhere else, but I’ll save that for when he turns seven.

Our first stop on the way up was to Grissom Air Reserve Base which is close to Kokomo and such an awesome place to visit. Not to mention, a really fun place for pictures.

And then we headed to Lake Manitou, where we always stay at Jerry and Sally’s cottage. They are Chris’ aunt and uncle who we absolutely adore and so do the kids. However, they were down in Florida at the time so we had to place to ourselves.

This little cottage will always be the sweet spot of Henry, Ruth and George’s childhood. They fish, swim, jump, play games, dance, stay up too late, eat bad, get too much sun, sleep on the boat and leave all of their cares back in Indy. This goes for me and Chris too, but just add in adult beverages. It’s quaint but magical and we are so thankful for it.

I love our little family beyond words and so cliche to say, but I feel blessed:)
