Ben

Ben is one of my son Henry’s best friends, and really, his very first friend. These two met when they were just 3 years old in preschool, and they’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since. So getting to take Ben’s senior photos was extra special!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this kid. He’s incredibly smart and talented, can play just about any instrument (and play it WELL!), has performed at multiple venues and events, serves as class president, and is the goalie on the lacrosse team. And that’s just the short list!

On top of all that, Ben is absolutely hilarious. He showed up to his senior session with an entire collection of props, and I loved every minute of it! From Rubik’s cubes and a journal to a lacrosse net, he brought all the things that make Ben, well, Ben. I’m not used to senior boys making a photo session this much fun, but Ben definitely set the bar!

Ben is one of those people who seems capable of doing just about anything he sets his mind to. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see his name in lights someday, whether he ends up in a band, in politics, or doing something none of us have even thought of yet. Whatever direction he takes, I know he’ll do great things.

We absolutely adore this kid and feel pretty lucky that he’s been part of our lives for so long.
