2012 Pricing info
All sessions include a disc of up to 30 or more full resolution files, online viewing (ordering optional) and each file will be digitally enhanced to give it that dreamlike quality. A deposit of 30% is required upon booking to hold your spot on my calendar. The remainder is due the day of the shoot. I accept cash, check and payments through Paypal. Checks should be made payable to Jan Van Velse.
I will travel to most of the surrounding areas of Indianapolis but anything beyond 30 miles from Broad Ripple may be subject to a travel fee.
*Newborn Session- $350 ($105 due time of booking, $240 due the day of the shoot)
The best time to contact me for booking is the beginning of your third trimester. It is important to have the session within the baby’s first 8 days of life if possible. After two weeks of age, babies are more likely to be easily disturbed while sleeping, and can also become colicky or baby acne can start to set in. These sessions are for up to 3 hours and typically done in baby’s home. I will bring the studio to you.
*Baby, Child or Family Session- $225 ($67.50 deposit time of booking and $157.50 due the day of the shoot)
One hour session at a location of your choice in the Indianapolis area. Includes 30 plus digitally enhanced full resolution files and print release. Immediate family only please.
*Senior Pictures- $550 ($165 due time of booking, $385 due day of shoot)
Two hour session with as many locations as you’d like, keeping in mind our time together. Sessions include professional prints and 30 plus digitally enhanced full resolution files and print release.

****All digital collections include a print release assigned to client. Velse Photography retains the rights to all images and does not sell unedited images. Images may not be altered in any shape or form. Any images uploaded to social networking sites must have Velse Photography’s logo. A folder of resized images with logos will be provided on your disc for you. Please be advised that all packages and pricing are subject to change without notice, any package booked within one week before changes (secured by deposit) will be honored.

A Canvas Cluster is a series of canvas gallery wraps grouped together to make a montage of images. In either format, canvas clusters are sure to impress any audience. Each canvas cluster is composed of individual high-quality, hand-stretched canvases wrapped around sturdy frames.

Hand Painted Canvas-
Hand Painted Canvas is the unique process of taking a high-quality image on canvas and handing it over to one of my printing studio’s experienced painters. Using their vast artistic experience, they create a one-of- a-kind masterpiece. Acrylic paint is precisely applied by hand to spot locations on the canvas, including the sides. After drying for an exact amount of time, studio artists then apply a gel-gloss coat over the entire canvas, to create a unique layered effect.

Custom Birth Announcements/Holiday Cards/Invitations
Custom designed in Photoshop by yours truly. All fonts and colors are tweeked to match your photos to create a one of a kind work of art featuring your little one. You may pick 1-2 images for single sided announcements and 2-6 for double sided. You approve the design and I take care of the rest.
