I just need to put this here for safe keeping. It’s my favorite. For Ruth’s 12th birthday we played a ‘To Hunt a Killer’ game and I had everyone come in character. I told Jill she had to be a mall cop, which wasn’t actually a character but I knew she would nail it. I almost died that night from laughing. Then at Christmas- she gave me the picture. Happy Halloween- one of my favorite days!! It’s the first year that all three kids weren’t with us. 😩. A Care Bear, Orca and a Giraffe (for the maybe 4th year in a row??) Mom fail not getting a pic of them together, it was a hectic evening. 🙃

Happy 70th to my mom @debisquirrel! So many things I can say about her I wouldn’t even know where to begin. She’s maybe the funniest person I know, brutally honest, strong in her faith, completely independent and you better not try to help her, smart and strong willed and kind of embarrassing in public- omg what is she going to say? It’s a miracle we still have her and I thank God daily that we do. About 20 years ago we were told she had maybe 5 years. She worked her butt off and somehow reversed those odds. This year was a rough one with the accident in February but she’s working hard and most would never even know it happened. I’m so happy to say my mom is SEVENTY today!! And she is amazing!

Last day of kickball! We had so much fun. Our original opponents forfeited last minute, so we invited the cadet boys to play us. I won’t mention who won🫣. Love this group of kids! I’ll miss coaching this crew, especially all the sweet eighth graders!

We have a high schooler! How do we have a high schooler? Such a fun introduction to the first day, Henry loved seeing friends and cousins as we pulled in, I think all the first day jitters were cured seeing their faces! It’s the start of new era for Henry. Cheers to the best year yet!

We planned to watch the sunrise on our last day. We heard it’s stunning over the badlands. So we head to Big Badlands Overlook about 5am. On the way we see lots of deer and a big horned sheep. 🥹. And the view was breathtaking. Awesome way to end the trip. Now we’re in the RV heading back. It’s about a 15 hour drive. Best adventure ever ❤️. Okay, I’ll stop over sharing now. Until I go though my big camera. Then I might start all over 🙃🙃🙃
